Project of stay for young palestinian people

The project consists in welcoming 10 young palestinians with 2 accompaning persons during 10 days in Brittany. The stay should occur before the end of the year 2008, to "celebrate" the 60th birthday of Nakba.

The aims of the project are :

- Making the Palestinian condition known, by

the collaboration of local authorities and official authorities,

the organization of conferences and public events,

the meeting with Breton young people during sports, cultural activities and other exchanges.

- Giving to the young Palestinians :

a hope of perspectives of life different from those that offer them their everyday life

the occasion to establish and to maintain relations between our two people,

the possibility of showing at their return the interest and the support for the Palestinian cause that they will have met

- Gathering different protagonits around a common project :

Associations working for the Palestinian cause

Local authorities bringing their support at our action and / or mobilized in this way

- The role of Colibri, by the mobilization of his members, will be :

to seek and to coordinate the partners of the project,

to organize the logistics and the reception,

to establish a program of the activities,

to bring, on its own funds, a part of the financing,

to manage the communication around the project.
